There has always been a 1%

There has always been a 1% and always will be. There will never be a 100% as long as a vital part of Human Nature is to compete in the race for the prize. I am only saying that when one wins the race, the prize cannot be to make all others in the race become the property of the winner. I do not fear the rule of Government, but I do fear the Tyrant.

Extraordinary accomplishment must be rewarded with extraordinary reward, but that reward cannot be the Crown of Power over others.  One of the purposes of taxes is to share the Commons with the Commoners. Ownership of a part of the Commons is not a right. It is a privilege granted by the community as a reward for accomplishment. No sane community would make that reward the Ancestral Ownership of the Commons including owning the Labor of citizens who share that part of the Earth.

I do not seek to give every man a share of everything, even if he contributes nothing to the creation and production of stuff. I seek only to see that he has a well balanced meal and a basic shelter that protects the body with at least a measure of comfort. I only ask that every person have free access to medical care that is of standard practice. I believe that every person has the right to be taught to the level of their ability the skill of living.

I seek nothing more than the right of every person have the same starting line in life. How well he runs the race will depend on his will, his ability, and his effort. I seek only enough of the essentials of life for every person that will allow him to watch the race and not run it, if that is his choice. If a man wishes to walk in the park or paint a picture or sing a song for the pleasure of himself and his friends, he should have the Freedom to do so. If he wishes to accumulate Monetary Rewards or enjoy Goods & Service beyond the essentials of life he will have to produce goods and Service for himself and for the Commons. Freedom is the right to choose the path of one's own life.

Community is the Circle of Life
